Deputies were dispatched to CR 2223 near Mineola, at approximately 1:42 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

Deputies were dispatched to Sells St. in Yantis, at approximately 1:48 a.m., in reference to a disturbance. James Burris, 37, of Blackwell, Oklahoma, was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 1801 near Mineola, at approximately 2:05 a.m., in reference to a dispute. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to Comanche near Quitman, at approximately 10:14 a.m., in reference to a theft. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and determined no theft had occurred.

Deputies spoke to the reporting party, at approximately 11:11 a.m., in reference to a scam that occurred on CR 2220 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1558 near Yantis, at approximately 11:29 a.m., in reference to a theft. Actors, or actors unknown, stole fishing poles from the reporting party’s boat.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2110 near Quitman, at approximately 1:22 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to Indian Gap near Quitman, at approximately 3:59 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3120 near Quitman, at approximately 4:32 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 852 near Winnsboro, at approximately 6:23 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and extra patrol will be provided.

At 6:25 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 515 near Winnsboro.

At 6:38 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2088 near Quitman.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1681 near Alba, at approximately 6:53 p.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3940 near Hawkins, at approximately 7:34 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

At 7:48 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 4255 near Winnsboro.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3876 near Mineola, at approximately 8:04 p.m., in reference to a burning violation. Deputies located the burning and determined it was not illegal.

March 29th

At 10:19 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2088 near Quitman.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 1:23 p.m., in reference to fraud that occurred on CR 4570 near Winnsboro. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

At 2:16 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 2952 near Alba.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3689 near Hawkins, at approximately 2:53 p.m., in reference to theft. Actors, or actors unknown, stole a firearm from the reporting party’s residence. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

At 3:03 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2088 near Winnsboro.

At 3:17 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2869 near Hawkins.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 852 near Winnsboro, at approximately 3:50 p.m., in reference to an incident. A known actor attempted to take a horse off of the reporting party’s daughter’s property. Deputies did not receive any proof of ownership from either party. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

At 4:46 p.m., cows were reported out on CR 4645 near Winnsboro.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1941 near Yantis, at approximately 5:12 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Rita Luscomb, 48, of Yantis, was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Quitman, at approximately 7:18 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

At 8:04 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 2966 near Quitman.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 69 near Alba, at approximately 8:21 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 515 near Yantis, at approximately 9:33 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 9:45 p.m., in reference to a theft that occurred on Comanche near Quitman. Actors, or actors unknown, stole a dog from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

March 30th

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2930 near Alba, at approximately 12:17 a.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any individuals.

At 2:04 a.m., cows were reported out on HWY 37 near Winnsboro.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 2220 near Mineola; at approximately 3:31 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 1416 near Quitman, at approximately 4:45 a.m. James Corley, 58, of Como, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.

At 8:57 a.m., horses were reported out on CR 2351 near Mineola.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Main St. in Quitman, at approximately 10:16 a.m. Mark Dillen, 28, of Quitman, was transported to the county line and released to Hopkins County for outstanding warrants.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3420 near Hawkins, at approximately 12:27 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on HWY 37 near Quitman, at approximately 2:08 p.m. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 4250 near Winnsboro; at approximately 2:49 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Yantis, at approximately 5:20 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3540 near Hawkins, at approximately 7:21 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle at the Lake Quitman spillway; at approximately 7:28 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 49/CR 2590 near Mineola, at approximately 7:49 p.m., in reference to an incident. Jolynn Murphy, 58, of Hawkins, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving While Intoxicated.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2426 near Mineola, at approximately 8:22 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

At 8:48 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 778 near Hawkins.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2100 near Quitman, at approximately 10:07 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 779 near Mineola, at approximately 12:45 a.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4430 near Winnsboro, at approximately 12:51 a.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

At 2:38 a.m., cows were reported out on HWY 37 near Winnsboro.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on WHY 37 near Winnsboro, at approximately 2:56 a.m. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2330 near Mineola, at approximately 3:29 a.m. Reberto Hernandez, 18, of Mineola, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 69, near Quitman, at approximately 5:41 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

At 8:08 a.m., cows were reported out on FM 2088 near Quitman.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1843 near Yantis, at approximately 8:42 a.m., in reference to a theft. Actors, or actors unknown, stole an air conditioner pump from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 9:13 a.m., in reference to criminal trespass that occurred on CR 4660 near Winnsboro. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and determined it was a civil matter.

Deputies responded to a public intoxication at the Wood County Sheriff’s Office; at approximately 10:04 p.m. Adam Galyeon, 36, of Hawkins, was arrested for Public Intoxication.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 3470 near Hawkins, at approximately 11:10 p.m. Richard Barnett, 63, of Alba, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Hawkins, at approximately 11:43 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on HWY 69 near Alba, at approximately 5:06 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2427 near Mineola, at approximately 2:44 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. The individuals left the scene, prior to the deputies’ arrival.

At 2:56 p.m., cows were reported out on HWY 154 near Quitman.

At 3:34 p.m., cows were reported out on FM 1804 near Mineola.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 3:52 p.m., in reference to harassment that occurred on HWY 80 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on FM 515 near Yantis; at approximately 8:16 p.m. James Corley, 58, of Como, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Driving While Intoxicated.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on Hwy 37 near Mineola; at approximately 8:23 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 12:47 p.m., in reference to a theft that occurred on PR 5834 near Yantis. A known actor stole several of the reporting party’s items. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
