Mount Pleasant 5, Wildcats Soccer 0
The Wildcats’ soccer team won their first three district soccer matches in the second half of district play but then they ran into first place Mount Pleasant at Gerald Prim Stadium Tuesday night. The Tigers took a 5-0 win. The Wildcats slip to 5-5 in district play and 12-11 for the season. The Wildcats also face a tough task Friday night. They will travel to Greenville to face the district’s number two team as the Wildcats try to stay in the playoff race.
Mount Pleasant 2, Lady Cats Soccer 0
The Lady Cats’ soccer team allowed a goal in each half and lost a district soccer game to Mount Pleasant, 2-0 on the road Tuesday night. The loss dropped the Lady Cats district record to 6-4. They are 14-6-3 for the season. The Lady Cats will attempt to bounce back Friday as they host Greenville at Gerald Prim Stadium on Senior Night.
