September 25, 2017 – Warrant service by Hopkins County Sheriff’s deputies led to two arrests at a home on County Road 1441 Saturday morning. A woman at the residence is accused of biting, kicking and hitting Sheriff’s Sgt. Amanda Weatherford. Later a search of the house led to discovery of over four grams of methamphetamine.

Brandy Dawn Loven
34-year old Brandy Dawn Loven of Winnsboro was charged with assaulting a public servant and possession of a controlled substance. Ms. Loven also faces five bail jumping and failure to appear warrants from Wood County. JP B.J. Teer set bonds totaling $70,000 for Ms. Loven. Bond for the Wood County warrants was set at $10,000.

55-year old William Allen Henson of Winnsboro was also charged with possession of a controlled substance with bond set at $50,000 by JP Teer.
