Faye Nell George Davis

Faye Nell George Davis went home on September 14, 2017 at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab. She was 80 years old. She was born on May 6, 1937 in Crush, TX to Tommie and Eula George. She met and married the love of her life Delbert Davis on September 10, 1956 in Sulphur Springs, TX. They raised a family while pastoring churches for 45 years. She had a great faith in God. She was a seamstress by trade and loved making quilts and sewing for anyone.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, one brother, her husband, one son, and one grandson.

She is survived by one brother John George and wife Kemmy of Spicewood, TX, two sons Ronny Davis and wife Freda of Sulphur Springs, Brad Davis and wife Linda of Colorado Springs, CO, two daughters, Vicki Osborne and husband John of St. Cloud, FL, Brenda Hicks and husband David of Clermont, FL, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00p.m., Sunday, September 17, 2017 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Matt Miller officiating and Bro. Jason Connor assisting. Interment will follow at Mahoney Cemetery with John Parrish, Mark Read, Nate McGraw, Del George, Randy Hignight, and Jerry Bell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Shropshire. Visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m., prior to service.

Arrangement are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
