Ina “Ruth” Gowin, age 71, of Emory, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at her home.
Funeral service is scheduled for 3 PM, Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory with Dr. Jason Rolen officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunbar Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service on Sunday, from 2-3 PM.
Ruth was born in Cooper on January 10, 1946, to Jessie Odis and Sarah Torotha Sneed Coston. She married Perry Gowin in Sulphur Springs, on October 27, 1978. She worked for Lance, Inc. for some 19 years, while also being a homemaker and a mother raising her three girls. Ruth was a Christian, of the Baptist faith, and she loved her Lord and Savior very much.

2 Daughters: Melissa Sullivan (Scott) of Lone Oak and Julie Klutz of Quinlan
5 Grandchildren: Katelyn Lively, Brittni Bednar, Dillon Rogers, Sarah Sullivan and Deborah Sullivan
6 Great-grandchildren
