Graveside services for Michael Maurice “Mickey” Mattison, age 70, of Brashear, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Reilly Springs Cemetery with Rev. David Burns officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mickey passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at his residence.
He was born May 2, 1946 in Greenville, the son of Herbert Maurice Mattison and Sue Via Mattison. Mickey married Dale Stephens on August 8, 1990 in Sulphur Springs. She survives. He worked for the Greenville Electric Utility Service for the City of Greenville for 17 years. He is survived by his son, Gary Don Woods of Santa Clara, CA , daughter, Krystal Karee Lovell of Grand Prairie, sister, Mandy Jones of Ledbetter, father and mother-in-law, Ron and Letha Tosh and of Reilly Springs, sister-in-law, Debbi Booth and husband Don, of Ft Smith, AR.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Patrick Mattison.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
