Pauline Edwards passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at her residence in Sulphur Springs. She was born on January 8, 1925, the daughter of Thomas and Emma (Sawin) Lawson in Celeron, New York. She was married to William D. Edwards, Sr. who precedes her in death.
Pauline was a loving mother and grandmother, a dancer, a retired nurse, a member of League Street Church of Christ and Member of Order of Eastern Star .
Survivors include her sons, William Donald Edwards, Jr. and wife Nancy, of Sulphur Springs and Timothy Lawson Edwards and wife Anne, of Asheboro, North Carolina; granddaughters, Lori Moreland and husband Kevin, of Sulphur Springs, Lynn Vick of Raliegh, North Carolina and Julie Tucker and husband Donald, of Asheboro, North Carolina; grandson, William D. Edwards, III (Trey) and wife Melanie of Tyler; and five great grandchildren, Holly Dodd, Carter Edwards, Mikel Godwin, Presley Godwin, Wyatt Tucker.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Phyllis Beadle and Elizabeth Lawson; and brother, Albert Gardiner.
