Funeral Service for Theola Reed, age 83, of Ridgeway, TX, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2015 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in the Ridgeway Cemetery, with Dan Hunt, Leslie Scott, Brandon Brewer, Benny Herman, Kelly Broyles, and Bobby Hill serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. one hour prior to service time at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.
Theola passed away on July 15, 2015 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, TX. She was born August 9, 1931 in Greenville, Texas. She married Ed Reed in 1965, in Dallas, TX, he preceded her in death.
She is survived by niece, Pam Flowers of Mesquite, nephews, Mike Brothers and wife Jimma of Dallas, Ronnie Brothers of Lake Fork, and Jimmy Strawn and wife Mary Jane of Dallas. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, lots of friends and neighbors. A special thanks to our dear caretakers Jan Allison and Betty Brown.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Wright, father and sisters, Helen Brothers, and Jean Strawn, and David Flowers.
