Wanda Nell Loveall

Ms. Wanda Nell Loveall, age 85 of Mount Vernon, passed from her earthly life into the gates of Heaven during the early morning hours of June 5, 2015 at her residence.  Nell was born to the late Mr. Pete Geeslin and late Mrs. Ina Mae Williams Geeslin on March 31, 1930 in Mount Vernon, TX.  Nell loved dancing and now she is dancing on the most beautiful dance floor of all, the streets of Heaven.  Nell married Billy Radican on October 25, 1950 and lived in Odessa, TX for several years.  On November 24, 1979 Nell married Mr. Russell Loveall and after 23 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on December 29, 2002.

From an early age, Nell’s father taught her to dance the Waltz; and through her life she continued dancing.  She loved playing jokes on family and friends and she was always quick to tell the funniest jokes.  Nell worked as the Activity Director of Terry Haven Nursing Home for several years and continued working for Jordan Health Services as a case manager.  Nell loved working in her yard and she took pride in taking in stray animals, especially dogs, to give them a home.  There were many times that the local game warden would find an abandoned fawn and they would call Nell and she would gladly raise the deer until it could take care of itself.

Nell is survived by one son, Tony Radican of Mount Vernon, TX; one grandson, Wil Radican of Mount Vernon, TX; one brother, Doug Geeslin and wife Faith of Ft. Worth, TX; niece, Kathy Wade and husband Virgil of Saltillo, TX; two great nieces, Hannah Wade and Kristina Wade; and a host of loving nephews, Rusty, Robert, Tony, Bob, and Joseph; and a host of loving nieces, Tammy, Wanda Gene, Sandy, LaDean, Jodie, Amiee, Debbie, and Loretta; and two sister-in-laws, Norene Loveall and Charolette Geeslin.

She is preceded in death by one sister, Imogene Payne; three brothers, Red Geeslin, Harold Geeslin, and Bobby Gene Geeslin; two brother-in-laws, Clennon Payne and Carl Loveall;
