Funeral arrangements for Hazel Elizabeth McIntire, age 93 of Winters, formerly of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Hall officiating.  Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mrs. McIntire passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Senior Citizens Nursing Home in Winters.  She was born the daughter of Alvia Nolan and Essie Lee (Harrison) Hankins on November 10, 1921 in Hopkins County.  She married James Leroy McIntire on August 9, 1942.  He preceded her in death in 1989.  She was a retired LVN and volunteer at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital for thirty-four years. She also co-owned and  helped operate the family dairy and loved baking for other people. She was a member of Davis Street Baptist Church and the president for over 25 years of the Fellowship Class.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Wilkey and husband, Royce of Winters; grandchildren, David Scott, Danny Scott, Jim Scott, Tim Scott, Russell Wilkey and Wayland Wilkey; great-grandchildren, Jessica Barnhart, Kaitlyn Wilkey and Jade Wilkey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Judy Scott; grandson, Donny Scott; seven brothers, Ewell Hankins, Curtis Hankins, Alvis (Sonny Boy) Hankins, Ovis Hankins, Garlin Hankins, Nolan Hankins and Travis Hankins and six sisters, Myrtle White, Ruth Frazier, Sybil Dorner, Lola Mae Briggerstaff, Evelyn Massey and one infant.

Memorials can be made to Davis Street Baptist Church or Hopkins County Memorial Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary.
