Mrs. Linda Jean (Simpson) Cox, age 63, of Winnsboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 outside Winnsboro.

Linda was born in Oklahoma on September 3, 1951 to Johnny C. and Imogene Bell Simpson. She was a waitress, a homemaker, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Simpson.

She is survived by her husband, James Andres “Jimmy” Cox of Winnsboro; son, James Bryan Cox of Cartwright; daughters, Bridget Cox Harris and husband Clint of Winnsboro, Stephaney Cox Arnold and husband Bryan of Cedar Park; brother, Jimmy Simpson and wife Anita of; sisters, Susie Perry and husband Richard of Dumas, Myra Henry and husband Keith of Georgia, Patsy Brooks of Dumas.
