Graveside funeral services for Warner Gamblin, age 77 of Sulphur Springs, will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Yantis Cemetery with Bro. Kenneth Rhoades and Bro. Kyle Ray officiating with Catan Runyan, Cooper Lee, David Baxter, Adam Tadlock, Jake Ferrell and Delbert Brown serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Byrd Hawkins, Kenneth Millsap, Cleve Williams, Carlton Sewell, Wayne Scott, Gayle Gamblin and Larry Gamblin. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) to 1:30 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Warner passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at his residence. He was born on July 5, 1937 in Yantis the son of Wayland and Pauline Cryer Gamblin. He married Mary June Coker on June 28, 1957 in Sulphur Springs. She survives. He was the retired owner of K-Bob’s Restaurant and a member of the Journey Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs
Other survivors include: daughters, Donna Gamblin, Kelly Humphrey; Robin Mode and husband, Shannon and Lori Lee and husband, Jeff; sister, Barbara Hurst; nephews, Michael Hurst, Gary Hurst and Scotty Hurst; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Beau Runyan and infant brother and sister twins.
