The body of a man wanted for murder in Franklin County was found in Hopkins County Tuesday morning. Authorities believe 55-year old Keith Lynn McDowell died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His body and vehicle were found just before 8 a.m. on County Road 2381. McDowell was wanted for the murder of 31-year old Angie Joe Smith, who was shot to death just after midnight Tuesday morning at an RV Park south of Mt. Vernon.
