2015 could be another record breaker concerning number of stew cooks at the annual World Champion Hopkins County Stew Contest coming up October 24. Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Meredith Caddell said over 50 cooks arrived Friday to claim their sites. Monday, 12 arrived to secure a site and five signed on Tuesday morning.
