The Lions Club was organized in Sulphur Springs in 1937. Since early 2000 it has sponsored the FAMOUS CHRISTMAS PARADE of LIGHTS, the seventeenth one on December 1, 2023. It is part of an international service club known for fighting blindness. December 21, 2023 – Several members of the Sulphur Springs Corvette Club stopped by the First United Methodist Church to make a donation to The Dinner Bell program.
