Frustration Key To Lady Cats Losses At T-High
The Lady Cats’ volleyball team lost 3-0 at Texas High Tuesday night. Coach Allison Irvin said the first set was the best for the Lady Cats. After that close loss, frustration seemed to set in. Could the Pine Tree game be a trap game for the Wildcats’ football team? Wildcats Football Coach Greg Owens is not interested in being the trapee. He knows Pine Tree is only 1-6 but they defeated Mt. Zombie Run To Raise Funds For SSHS Project Graduation Celebration
The Sulphur Springs High School Senior Class of 2015 is having a Zombie Run and Fun to raise money to defray costs of their Project Graduation Celebration. There are now three contestants for Fall Festival Cover Girl. One young lady decided to drop out Friday. Summer Paving Program Extending Into Fall Season
The city of Sulphur Springs Summer Paving Program is a Fall Paving Program again this year and it’s now underway in earnest. A contractor is doing the overlay work on several streets around town. Meanwhile a city crew will soon start reconstruction work on Lamar Street. It will also include water, sewer and drainage improvements. High School Theatre Department Raising Funds For United Way
The Sulphur Springs High School Theatre Department is having a play with dessert featuring the short comedy 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse. It will take place Thursday, October 30 on the Middle School Stage.
