An electrical power outage at Como-Pickton schools has forced administrators to cancel classes and school activities Wednesday, January 17, 2018. “We don’t know when power will turn on, so out of respect for families waiting on our decision, we will go ahead and cancel for the day,” according to Linda Rankin, Elementary School Principal.

Como Pickton Consolidated School board of trustees meet Monday at 6 p.m. in the Como-Pickton Conference Center, 13017 Texas Highway 11 East in Como. Along with the financial audit, they will consider purchase of a Suburban, consider security gating, and the purchase of Cop Sync and Cop Sync 911.
