Kids Kingdom at Buford Park will be closed to the public Friday, April 22 through Sunday, April 24, for repairs, Sulphur Springs officials report. Kids Kingdom in Buford Park The Sulphur Springs Leadership Class has selected as a class service project the rehab of Mary Bonham’s Kids Kingdom in Buford Park. Friday and Saturday, April 22-23, have been designated as work days to re-stain all the wood in the park and Kids Kingdom and spread mulch. Starting this Friday, April 22nd, the Friends of the Rains County Library will be having our semi-annual Book Sale from 9-5 and Saturday, April 23rd, from 9-2 with Saturday being our bargain day! Storytelling both day and Saturday entertainment from 10-noon by Storyteller and Indian flutist Richard W Nash. The annual City-Wide Spring Clean-Up began at 7 a.m. this morning (April 18) and will continue until Saturday, April 18-23, 2022. Sulphur Springs residents may bring large items to discard from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on clean-up days to the city collection site, located about just east of Flowserve. Spring Clean-Up Week is strictly for Sulphur Springs residents, not for commercial interests.
