Richland Cemetery Association to Hold Their Next Meeting April 13th
The Richland Cemetery Association will hold their next meeting Saturday, April 13, 2024, beginning at 10:30am. The meeting will take place at the New Richland Baptist Church. The program will be given by Don Mitchell. It will feature a series of community pictures. The public is invited.
Old Saltillo Methodist Church to Hold Gospel Music Service April 7th
April 4, 2024 – The Old Saltillo Methodist Church will hold a Gospel Music Service Sunday, April 7, 2024. Musician Dr. Jim Borders of Lexington, Kentucky’s O-Zone Band will play a range of Gospel music beginning at 10:40am. This is a musical program that will last until Noon and will be fairly casual. Everyone is invited.
Sulphur Springs Area Churches to Hold Special Service April 7th
Sulphur Springs Area Churches will hold a special “Sonlight Crusade” service April 7, 2024, at the Buford Park Pavilion, 733 Connally Street, Sulphur Springs, Texas, from 9:00am to 11:00pm. There will be singing, fellowship, food, and more. The event is free. Area churches welcome everyone. For more information, call 903-243-5113.
Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church Wants the Public to Know Sanctuary Doors to be Open Good Friday
March 20, 2024 – On Good Friday, March 29, the doors to the Sanctuary at First United Methodist Church, one block north of downtown Sulphur Springs at 301 Church Street, will be open for quiet meditation and individual prayer from 8 am to 3 pm. All are welcome. Stephen Ministers will be there to greet those coming to pray.
Good Friday is the commemoration of the day Jesus Christ died on the cross at Calvary.

The Sojourners Sunday School class at the First United Methodist Church was organized in the early 2000’s from the former Gleaners Class that disbanded when the members became empty nesters! Meeting in the parlor the class members remain dedicated to each other and their concerns. However they do give freely of their time, talents and financial resources to the many projects and programs of the First United Methodist Church.
GRAB and GO with a meal from the distribution area under the covered driveway (porte cochere) on the Northeast corner of the First United Methodist Church campus starting around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Plant Sale to be Held April 4th through 6th
The Sulphur Springs Church of the Nazarene will host a Plant Sale April 4th through the 6th, 2024. The Church is located at 1300 South League Street in Sulphur Springs, Texas. There will be a variety of choices available. The sale is open to the public.
