Dinner Bell Menu for August 10, 2022
The Alliance Bank is a four-times-a-year Community Partner with Dinner Bell. For this week and the other three weeks of the year we thank the bank, its employees and officers, for supporting Dinner Bell and its ministry to feed those in need of a meal in Sulphur Springs.
GRAB and GO with a meal from the distribution area under the covered driveway (porte cochere) on the Northeast corner of the First United Methodist Church campus starting around 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

Divorce Care meets every Wednesday beginning August 3 and runs for 13 weeks.

Meet the Teacher at Little Lambs Parent’s Day Out
The Little Lambs Parent’s Day Out program at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Sulphur Springs is hosting a Meet The Teacher Event Friday July 29th, 2022. The events runs from 4:30 to 6:30.

You can leave your little lamb, ages birth to 5 years of age, with Sara and her staff on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
There is a waiting list for some age ranges, but openings are available. The 2022/2023 program starts officially on August 1st. As long as there are openings, little lambs can join anytime during the year.
Little Lambs director Mrs Sara encourages people to attend the Meet the Teacher event today. “Anyone interested should get on the waiting list.” says Sara, “If there is enough need, additional days and times may be opened.”
The program is available for the entire year, and is paid for on a monthly bases.
Membership in the Lutheran Church is not required for participation in this program.

Church Garage Sale in Emory
We are raising money for our new church construction.
St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Emory, Texas is holding a garage sale today through Saturday, July 30 from 8 AM to 4 PM. Come check out lots of women’s and men’s clothing and shoes, children’s items, housewares and bedding, and new fishing tackle.

Dinner Bell Hard at Work for Wednesday Meal
This week’s Dinner Bell meal includes sausage, peppers and onions. Volunteers from various organization in the area were hard at work Tuesday morning preparing the meal.


Homemade mac and cheese is also on the menu.

Greenview Cemetery Association July 3, 2022
Greenview Cemetery Association will be hosting their annual Memorial Day, Sunday, July 3rd. A business meeting will start at 10:00 AM. At 11:00 Woody Garmon will lead congregational singing followed by a message by Pastor Larry Jordan. Immediately after, everyone is welcome to stay for dinner on the grounds.
The cemetery will also be open on Saturday July 2nd for the Potts family reunion. There will a donation table set up 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Sunday.
