Today we honor and recognize the service of the Hopkins County United Way to our great communities in Hopkins County. Together we are UNITED to care for the needs of our neighbors. The portion of the funds collected and distributed to Dinner Bell buys groceries and supplies to prepare weekly meals. Thank you to the local United Way organization and workers. A big thank you to ALL citizens who participate in the United Way campaign.

Alliance Bank is a very supportive entity in Sulphur Springs by being a Community Partner four times a year. This is the third event in 2023. Dinner Bell appreciates the Alliance Bank and its staff which give graciously to the area.

Dinner Bell Menu For August 9, 2023
Christus Mother Frances Hospital yearly sets goals to benefit the citizens of Sulphur Springs and Hopkins county. One of its goals is to improve food insecurity. To satisfy that goal Christus is a Community Partner giving monetary support to Dinner Bell five times a year. August 9 is its fourth appearance at the feeding ministry. Associates of the hospital further their commitment by preparing the food boxes and distributing them to the cars driving under the covered driveway on Church Street.

Evening Chapel CME in Sulphur Springs Holding a Plate Lunch Fundraiser August 3rd and 6th
Evening Chapel CME will hold a Plate Lunch Fundraiser Thursday, August 3rd, beginning at 11:00am, and then again on Saturday, August 6th, beginning at 12:30pm. Evening Chapel CME is located at 199 Putman Street, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. The Menu includes Barbecue pulled pork, ribs, or sausage, with choice of two sides. The sides are Potato Salad, Pinto Beans, or Mac and Cheese. Cost is a $12.00 donation. They will deliver.

Gafford Chapel Cemetery Annual Memorial Day Service
July 6. 2023- Gafford Chapel Cemetery will be holding their annual memorial day service on July 9th starting at 10:45 and will be held at the Gafford Methodist Church.
