June 6, 2023- The Delta County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a car and driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run on the morning of Monday, June 5. June 6, 2023- A 16-year-old East Texas boy died in a car crash over the weekend. Jaykob A. Dobb, of Hawkins, was driving south on FM 14 when his vehicle drifted across the rod’s center line and into the oncoming northbound lane, according to Texas Department of Public Safety preliminary investigation.
