July 9, 2024 – Some of Texas’ eighty-eight parks are closed due to recent weather events. Texas Parks and Wildlife urges everyone to check online before they set out on an adventure to make sure their destination is open. Click here to see the Official Texas Parks and Wildlife Outage map. Costal region parks were hit the worst. It may be weeks before they are fully open to the public.
