About 125 girls were signed up last school year for the Blaze Buddies program. Registration is currently underway for this year’s program. October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. October 1st, 2018 at 9AM, in the Commissioners Court, Judge Newsom will be doing a Proclamation Declaring October Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Hopkins County. October 16th, 2018 SAFE-T will be hosting a Candlelight Vigil Honoring The Silent Voices and those that have Lost Their Lives to Domestic Violence on Celebration Plaza at 6:30pm.
