March 6, 2023- Butch Burney met on the Hopkins County Courthouse steps today to discuss the upcoming eclipse set in April of 2024. Burney talked about a couple from Seattle, Washington who visited the Chamber Of Commerce, the couple wanted to come down to ask about a place to stay during the week of the eclipse. Sulphur Springs City Council To Discuss Annexation Of Proposed Residential Property
March 3, 2023- Sulphur Springs City Council is meeting March 7 to discuss the annexation of a Hwy 11 property owned by Oak National Development, LLC. The council will first hold a public hearing to hear comments from those who may be affected by the annexation.
