School Starts Tuesday, Drive Careful
Sulphur Springs Police Chief Jay Sanders reminded the driving public Friday that flashing school zone signs would be activated Tuesday, the first day of classes in town. He said police officers would be working them as usual during the school year. They’ll be looking for drivers going too fast or using cell phones. Dare To Dream Underway At Douglas
The three-day Dare to Dream Camp got underway Wednesday at Douglas Intermediate School in Sulphur Springs. 120 fifth graders to be at Douglas registered to attend the leadership building camp. A special meeting of the Sulphur Springs City Council will prove time for public comment regarding a proposed tax increase.
