The Hopkins County Commissioners Court plans to attend a Texas Association of Counties’ legislative meeting Monday where legislative concerns will be discussed. The meeting will take place Monday beginning at 11:30 a.m. at a meeting room in the Best Western Plus on Highway 69 East in Emory. The court will also have its weekly meeting on construction progress of the new County Jail with Sedalco Construction at the Sedalco meeting facility on East Houston Street.
