The UPRA Rodeo coincides with the Handicapable Rodeo. This annual event was put on from help with the UPRA Rodeo Cowboys, SSHS Key Club Students, Cheerleaders, and many other students. The special education and handicap children are able to participate in various rodeo style activities: such as horseback riding and mechanical bull riding. The participants come from all over, not just Sulphur Springs, and are able to have fun being cowboys and cowgirls for a day.
