Funeral Services for Paul Gerald Wilburn, age 82, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 23, 2017 at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Michael Coker officiating. Interment will follow in Old Saltillo Cemetery with Danny Wilburn, John Wilburn, Chris Wilburn, Caemon Wilburn, Heston Wilburn and Adam Wilburn serving as pallbearers and Joshua Wilburn, Phillip Wilburn and Colton Marrow serving as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will be held 6 till 8 pm, Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Tapp Funeral Home.Paul Wilburn passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Saltillo, TX on December 3, 1934, the son of J.W. Wilburn and Golden Swinford Wilburn. He married Clye Tee Jordan in August of 1952. He was a retired mechanic and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include: sons, Gerald Wilburn and wife, Annette and Raymond Wilburn and wife, Dawn; grandchildren: Chris Wilburn, Joshua Wilburn, Katy Wilburn, Elizabeth Wilburn, Victoria Wilburn and Isabelle Wilburn; great grandchild: Bethany Hokett; brothers: Steve Wilburn and Phillip Wilburn.
Mr. Wilburn was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Clye Tee Wilburn; son, David Wilburn; daughter: Linda Wilburn; grandson: Joseph Wilburn.
