Crawfish lovers who plan to attend the open-air “Claws for a Cause” Rotary Club fundraiser Crawfish Boil on Saturday April 30 will now have a roof over their heads! Due to a chance of rain, the open-air event has now been furnished with an indoor shelter on Main Street in downtown Sulphur Springs. The Hopkins County Genealogical Society, in partnership with the Rotary Club, will be offering space for dining in their vacated building at 212 Main Street, complete with tables, chairs and indoor facilities. There will also be plenty of tables outside along the 200 block of Main Street. Tickets to the fundraising event are $25 advance and $30 on Saturday April 30. There will be over two tons of crawfish along with all the fixings as well as beverages. The Zydeco Stingrays will provide live music. Go to ssrotarycrawfish for more details.
