The Sulphur Springs High School Lady Cat volleyball varsity defeated the Mount Pleasant High School Lady Tigers Friday night, October 2. Lady Cats won in three, 25-14, 25-8, and 25-7. Tori Moore was 17 for 17 serving with Anden Hammack serving 19 of 20. Kaylee Jefferson led the team in kills with 11. Autumn Tanton had a team high 7 blocks and Sidney Dietze had nine digs. The Lady Cats ended the first half of district play at 5-2 and in third place. The next game is scheduled for October 6 at Marshall High School.
