Evelyn Virginia Rochelle, age 77 of Sulphur Springs, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at her residence. Evelyn was born June 14, 1948, in Vernon, Texas to James and Jean (Pitman) Rochelle.
Evelyn enjoyed reading, going to the casinos and her dog Bella. She was fun-loving and everyone enjoyed her sense of humor. Evelyn enjoyed taking road trips to Waco, Texas. Evelyn loved listening to Rock Music. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Evelyn was very loved by her family and will be missed dearly.
Evelyn Rochelle is survived by her nieces, Emma Rochelle of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Mandi Mullinex of Ft. Worth, Texas, Tassi Rochelle of Ft. Worth, Texas; nephews, Jeffrey Kuykendall of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Jimmy Bailey of Mt. Vernon, Texas; sister, Debra Jaquess of Waco Texas; best friend, Joyce Francis.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jean (Pitman) Rochelle.
