January 23, 2026 – The Hopkins County Genealogical Society announces that due to forecasted inclement weather and for the safety of their volunteers and patrons, the library will close at 12:00pm on Friday, January 23, 2026. The library will reopen on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 9:30am. Be careful out there. The Hopkins County Genealogical Society Library is located at 611 North Davis Street, Sulphur Springs, Texas.
