A Message of Inspiration From the Author of Living Loved, August 31, 2025

Reading the account of Peter walking on water in
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14:22-33‬‬

Hey friends!!   The Lord just began speaking to my heart about being reckless, living with reckless abandon in our faith, abandoning our fears and our doubts, abandoning reasoning in the flesh!  To be quick to get out of the boat when He calls us to walk on the water with Him!  Peter only began to sink because he took his eyes off Christ!!  But that faith that he stepped out in, the faith that had no boundaries in the physical realm could have kept him walking had he stayed in that faith! Let us all jump out of the boat and walk on water, abandoning our reasoning, our fears, and our doubts!

You see God does not live within the confines of the physical and therefore all things are possible with him.  The Lord is calling us to step out of the confines of the physical and step into a place of the possible; the spirit. Living and walking in the spirit will allow us to “walk on water” or in the seemingly impossible. God wants to do miracles, he wants to show people his power and might. He wants us to believe for the impossible to be done because when impossible is done God gets the glory and people see his power and might. God wants to work outside the confines of the physical; he wants to do mind blowing things like calling Peter to walk on water. He wants people to see the miracles and know that he was there. If it is possible in the physical then His glory is not nearly as magnified as when he breaks out of the confines of the physical and works miracles in the spiritual. God is calling us out of the boat!!  Are you ready to step from the confines of the physical into the power of the spiritual?  My heart has been pleading that I never become so comfortable in anything I do that my flesh can override my spirit and act without it. When we have to do things beyond our ability that’s when the power of God is at work. Let us begin stepping into the impossible and watching God make them possible!!  Let’s not take our eyes off the Lord who the power is coming from!!  As soon as Peter took his eyes off Jesus the power and faith left him and he began sinking because in the physical walking on water was impossible but connected to Jesus in faith it was possible!!  ‬‬If Peter can walk on water why can’t we?  Is Christ who called him out onto the water not the same Christ who calls us??  Let us keep our eyes focused on The Lord who calls us out of the boat!  The God who has no physical limitations and let us walk in the supernatural power we have been given!!  Let’s walk on some water!!  Live loved friends!

(“What a broad world to roam in, what a sea to swim in is this God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is eternal, which means that He antedates time and is wholly independent of it. Time began in Him and will end in Him. To it He pays no tribute and from it He suffers no change. He is immutable, which means that He has never changed and can never change in any smallest measure. To change He would need to go from better to worse or from worse to better. He cannot do either, for being perfect He cannot become more perfect, and if He were to become less perfect He would be less than God. He is omniscient, which means that He knows in one free and effortless act all matter, all spirit, all relationships, all events. He has no past and He has no future. He is, and none of the limiting and qualifying terms used of creatures can apply to Him.” AZ Tozer. )
