Hey friends, we pray, “God, mold me. Shape me. Make me more like You.”
And then pressure comes and we’re like:
“Okay, Lord, not like that.”
But have you ever watched a potter?
Pressure is part of shaping the clay.
James 1 says the testing of our faith produces perseverance, and then it says to let perseverance finish its work.
Sometimes we’re asking God to finish the circumstance while God is doing a work in us through the circumstance.
That doesn’t mean everything painful comes from God.
It means nothing surrendered to God has to be wasted.
So don’t jump off the wheel just because the shaping is uncomfortable.
Stay in the Potter’s hands, friends. You are so loved, live loved!!
