Mary Ellen Eargle, age 78, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026.
Mary was born on February 12, 1948, in Victoria, Texas, to Ford Ruble and Annie Mae (Thomas) Caulkins.
She married William E. Eargle on November 22nd, 1975, in Dallas, Texas. They lived and raised their family in East Dallas until they retired to Lake Cypress in 2009.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Ford and Annie Mae Caulkins; husband, William E. Eargle; brother, Ruble Caulkins; sister in law, Elaine Caulkins; brother-in-law, Everett Walter; niece, Rhonda Lynn Caulkins.
She is survived by her son, William and wife, Monica Eargle; grandchildren, Meagan, Natalie, and Patrick Eargle; sister, Linda Walter; brother, John and wife, Kathleen Caulkins; niece, Shannon Luna; nephew, Derick Caulkins; numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral service were held at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home Monday, March 30, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Visitation took place one hour prior at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon City Cemetery.
