Funeral services for Judy Carol Garrett, age 81, of Brashear, TX, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2026, at South Liberty Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Burns officiating and Halsten Potts and Tim Potts assisting.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery with Ray Sparks, Barry Smith, Halsten Potts, Marcus Ford, Ricky Ted Williams and Ronnie Miller serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Couch, Jim Potts, Gary Williams, Wayne Allison, David Rawson and Norman Colyer. Judy passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Hunt County Regional Hospital in Greenville. Judy was born on November 13, 1944, in Paris, TX, the daughter of William Morris Wilson and Loraine Nabors Wilson. She married Dannie Garrett on August 7, 1964, in Winnsboro, TX. He preceded her in death. Judy worked for Raytheon as a Supervisor for many years.
Judy is survived by her children, Dewayne Garrett and wife Georgia, daughter, Tammie Winstead and husband David Paul, grandchildren, Reese Garrett (Sara), Tasha Garrett Comeaux (Cameron), Jason Garrett and David Wayne Winstead (Hannah) and 6 great-grandchildren.
