A Message of Inspiration From the Author of Living Loved, March 1, 2026

Hey friends, I’ve been reading in the Gospel of Luke 15 where Jesus tells three parables: the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son. In each story, something valuable is missing, and the owner searches until it is found. The shepherd leaves the ninety-nine and goes after the one sheep. The woman lights a lamp and sweeps carefully until she finds the coin. The father watches the road for his son and, when he sees him at a distance, runs to embrace him. The sheep didn’t organize its rescue. The coin wasn’t even aware it was lost. The son thought he was returning in shame. But in every case, love moved first.

Luke 15 reveals the same heartbeat of God.   He pursues us!  He pursues us with an unfailing love.    We do not initiate salvation—we respond to pursuit.  I love in the book of John when the disciples are first starting to follow Him and Philip had gone to his brother Nathanael, to invite him to come and see the Messiah; the book of John records that Jesus had already seen Nathanael under the fig tree. Like He saw Him before Nathanael could even respond to a call. Jesus saw him.  And he sees us!

Friends, before the sheep realized it was lost, the shepherd was searching. Before the son rehearsed his apology, the father was watching the horizon.

This is the love of God. He sees you before you seek Him. He knows you before you understand Him. He pursues you because you already belong to Him. You are not random. You are not overlooked. You are not an afterthought. The same God who saw Nathanael under the tree sees YOU exactly where you are. And when someone says to you, “Come and see,” it is not pressure—it is the echo of a Savior who has already been seeking you in love.

Friends, He sees you.  He loves you!  He is calling us to a beautiful relationship that is filled with love that never fails!  No matter which story you resonate with, the same God sees you, sees value in you, so much that He died for you!! So you could be found in Him on the day of His return!  You are so loved friends!  Live Loved!
