Foundation’s Online Gala Auction Pre-Sale Closes with Success
February 11, 2026 – Sulphur Springs, Texas – The Foundation held a special online auction pre-sale ahead
of its newly rescheduled Gala, set for May 9. The auction surpassed expectations, delivering strong results in both revenue and bidder engagement.
Featuring experiences and items best enjoyed before the spring Gala date, the auction offered a rare opportunity to bid on items typically exclusive to the in-person event. All auction participants were entered into a drawing to win $500 cash, sponsored by Chris Voorheese, Financial Advisor – Edward Jones. The drawing will take place during the Gala and is ordinarily reserved for event attendees.
Bidding remained active all week, peaking with a final-day rush on Super Bowl Sunday during the February 2–8 auction. The Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to the community for its continued support and dedication while navigating the Gala’s postponement.
Proceeds will contribute to the 20th Anniversary Gala’s overall fundraising goal. This year, the Foundation has committed to donating $250,000 of Gala proceeds toward outfitting the newly expanded surgical wing of CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs with needed equipment.
