A Message of Inspiration From the Author of Living Loved, February 8, 2026
Hey friends! Just a quick note to you all today! If your hope, security, or joy comes from either people or circumstances (ex: husband, job, friends, nice car, etc) then I can guarantee that you WILL be let down. Yes friends we all take a gut punch from time to time and sometimes it takes a minute to regain our footing. BUT if your hope, security, and joy are found in the Lord, you WILL NOT be let down! Jobs come and go. Friends come and go. Situations come and go. Relationships come and go. Like the waves of the ocean, in and out. We must keep a fluid lifestyle of going with the ebb and flows of life by being anchored in the promises of God! I know these situations are no fun. They hurt. They feel like defeat. They STINK! But we can still find peace in the storms of life when we put our hope in the Lord. He sees you! He sees the hurt you are feeling! He sees the situation you are in! He sees!! And here’s the good news!! He also LOVES YOU, HAS A PLAN FOR YOU, IS YOUR PROVIDER, YOUR PEACE, YOUR JOY! He can strengthen us when we are weak. He can move mountains! Now I’m going to put a disclaimer here: Seek Him! Seek Him FIRST and He will take care of what you NEED. I have learned to just seek Him and trust Him with the outcome no matter how that looks! I’ve been rich and I’ve been poor. I’ve had nice cars and nice houses. And I have had what people have scoffed at. I don’t question Him anymore. YOUR WILL BE DONE FATHER. Take a chance to give him the reigns and see what He does! Place your hope, security and joy into the hands of the ONLY one who truly has your best interest at heart. Not the shifting and changing world and the people who inhabit it! Love yall!! You are loved by a Mighty God, live loved friends!
