A Message of Inspiration From the Author of Living Loved, February 1, 2026

Hey friends!  If asked the question, how do you know God Loves you, how would you answer that?

It’s not a question that is answered super easily, but it’s also easy to answer.   I  know that doesn’t make sense but here’s the thing, God’s love is experienced, not just believed

Many people know about God’s love. But those who walk with Him experience it—through forgiveness, peace, conviction that leads to freedom, and presence in suffering.

God’s love is not always loud or dramatic. Sometimes it’s the quiet strength that carries you when you shouldn’t be able to stand.  I have experienced Gods love in all the rough seasons of my life.  His quiet presence shows up in strength and peace that surpasses all understanding.  It also shows up when things don’t go our way because even His no is love.

A simple answer you can give when someone asks, “How do you know God is love?” you can say:

“Because He proved it. He loved me when I didn’t deserve it, pursued me when I was lost, and gave everything to restore me. Love isn’t just what God does—it’s who He is.”

God’s love pursues, not abandons.  We see from Genesis to Revelation, the Bible tells one consistent story: God moves toward broken people, not away from them.   He sought Adam and Eve after they sinned even when he knew they were hiding from Him.   He rescued Israel time after time after rebellion

And Jesus touched the unclean, welcomed sinners, restored the rejected and left the 99 to go after the one and that one was ME!  It was you!  It was us!!

Because Love pursues. And God never stopped pursuing humanity—even when it cost Him everything, His only begotten son.

And then God’s love restores what was broken because Love doesn’t ignore brokenness; it heals it.

Jesus didn’t just forgive sins!  He restored dignity, identity, and hope. The cross wasn’t only about removing guilt; it was about restoring relationship.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…” (John 3:16)

Love gives. Love restores. Love makes a way back home.

And friends, that is the kind of love He has for you!! In this month that we celebrate love, let’s first know His love so we can know how to love others!!

Because anyone can say “I love you.” But Love is proven by what someone is willing to give up for another.

And friends, God proved His love in the most costly way possible:

“But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” (Romans 5:8)

God did not wait for us to be lovable, faithful, or worthy. He loved us at our worst. That kind of love cannot be manufactured—it can only flow from who He is.

“God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.” (1 John 4:16)

You are so loved, live LOVED!!
