February 20, 2026 – The 2026 football schedule for the Sulphur Springs Wildcats has been announced. It includes a game at Gerald Prim Stadium against perennial East Texas power Gilmer.
After scrimmaging at home against Pittsburg on Friday, August 13 and at Liberty-Eylau on Thursday, August 20, the Wildcats open the regular season at Mt. Pleasant on Friday, August 28.
The first home game is against traditionally strong Texarkana Pleasant Grove on Friday, September 4. The Wildcats play at Whitehouse on September 11. The game at home vs. Gilmer is on September 18. That will be the last non-district game.
The District 7-4A Division 1 schedule opens at home September 25 vs. Kaufman.
On October 2, the Wildcats travel south of Dallas to play at Ferris. October 9 in the open date.
On October 16, the Wildcats host Paris. October 23, they journey to Waxahachie Life.
The final home game is October 30 vs. Caddo Mills, and the final regular season game is at Mabank.
The Wildcats went 10-2 last season under Head Coach Brandon Faircloth. The 2026 games will heard on KSST.
