Funeral Mass for Alexis Nicolai Ojeda Alisago age, 38, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church with Father Victor Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow at the Sulphur Springs City Cemetery with Andrew Ojeda Alisago, Alexander Ojeda Alisago, Angelo Michael Ojeda Alisago, Audelson Ojeda Alisago serving as pallbearers.
Visitation vigil will be held from 4pm Sunday, February 1, 2026 till 10:00 am Monday, February 2, 2026 in the Education building.
Alexis was born on July 19, 1987, in Mangagoy, Bislig, Surigao del Sur, Philippines the son of Augosto Solis Alisago and Delia Claridad Ojeda. He married Kizy Varron on on June 25, 2024 in Hopkins County and united in Holy Matrimony at St. James Catholic Church on October 19, 2024.
Alexis was a maintenance tech at Saputo Cheese USA, Inc. and a ramp agent for Southwest Airlines. He enjoyed riding his One Wheel, mountain biking, welding, and he liked DIY fixing his truck. He was a loving and caring responsible father, and husband, a kindhearted man, with a sense of humor when around friends, colleagues, and random people but above all he’s a warrior in fighting his illness battle with his Faith armor and was able to conquer suffering and pain by surrendering and trusting Lord God Jesus Christ will for him. He liked Mangoes and Rambutan and marang fruits from the Philippines, he loved most Filipino dishes with rice in it,
He is survived by his wife Kizy Varron Alisago of Sulphur Springs, daughter Princess Ky-N Varron Alisago of Sulphur Springs, mother Delia Ojeda Harlan and step-father Joseph Harlan of Sulphur Springs, brothers Andrew, Alexander, Angelo Michael, Adelson and Augosto II Ojeda Alisago.
He was preceded in death by his father.
