December 18, 2025 – The Hopkins County Genealogical Society announces that “We are so thankful for our members who are the heart and soul of the Hopkins County Genealogical Society. We are even more thankful for the many volunteers who contribute their time and their talent to make our society great. We wish all of you a happy day with food, family and friends. In observance of the Christmas holiday, the library will be closed at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025, and will reopen on Monday, December 29th at 9:30 a.m. The library will be closed, again, from 5:00pm Tuesday, December 30, 2025 through Thursday, January 1, 2026. It will reopen Friday, January 2, 2026. This is in observance of the New Years Holiday.
The Hopkins County Genealogical Society Library is located at 611 North Davis Street, Sulphur Springs, Texas.
