Funeral Services for Steve Randell Reed, age 79, will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rusty Posey officiating with Bobby Keller assisting. Roger Reed, Rodney Keller, Randall Reed, Don Chapman, Brian Ogles, Wayne Kendall, Stephen Carter, and Mike Booth will be serving as pallbearers. Interment will follow the service at Ridgeway Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at West Oaks Funeral Home. Steve passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Steve was born on November 15, 1946, to Marvin Ray Reed and Mary Leona Keller Reed in Sulphur Springs, Texas. He married Wanda Burks on September 1, 2012. Steve was a mechanic by trade and attended Hope Family Fellowship. He adored spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Reed; sons, Jackie Reed and his wife, Stephanie, Keith Duncan and his wife, Marcie, and Bradley Edge; daughters, Sherry Reed, Veronica Duncan, and Lorita Bledsoe; brothers, Bobby Keller and his wife, Janet, Paul Reed and his wife, Sharon, Richard Reed and his wife, Becky, Mark Reed and his wife, Brenda, and Jerry Keller and his wife, Marion; sisters, Peggy Brzeski, Rhonda Falls and her husband, Todd, and Helen Baskin and her husband, Charlie; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Joey Reed, Patsy Linker, and Wilma Sexton; special cousins, Rodney Keller, Don Chapman and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ann Reed; sons, Rusty Reed, and Brandon Edge; brothers, Junior Reed, Loyd Reed, Roger Reed, and Ricky Reed and sisters, Betty Long and Mary Jane Medina.
