Cooper Lake Up But Not as Much as 2024

June 12, 2025 – It’s no surprise that Lake Chapman near Cooper, TX is up. In fact it’s just over 100% full according to the Army Corp of Engineers.

Last year, in the month of June, Cooper lake was actually a few feet higher than it is currently. The high water levels have affected fishing. The most recent report is as follows.

Jun 11, 2025 GOOD. Water stained; 77 degrees: 2.00 feet below pool. Crappie are good in 10-20 feet of water on timber and brush piles. Minnows are outperforming jigs.
