A Message of Inspiration From the Author of Living Loved, June 29, 2025
Hey friends!! While studying in the John chapter 4, I was reading about the woman at the well and there were a few takeaways that really just spoke so much to my heart, so I wanted to share them here.
– Jesus found her in her sin and He offered her Living Water, eternal life. He revealed Himself as the Messiah to a woman who, by society’s standards, was an outcast. She was a despised Samaritan and a woman who had 5 husbands. And friends, he finds us in our sins, our brokenness, our hurting, our hiding, our shame and He comes and offers Himself to us I exchange for our sins. He gives us Love and forgiveness where most walk away from us. You see, the world calls us by our sin, Jesus calls us His.
– We don’t have to lie and cover up our sin. The shame, guilt, and brokenness that used to hold us back from true worship, no longer binds us! We can come and worship Him in spirit and in truth.
– When we have a true encounter with the Living Water, Jesus, we should be changed and full of excitement what the Lord has done for us. And we can go exclaim it to everyone we come across! Our old lives are changed in for a new life and our testimony can transform the lives of many! She went and exclaimed “COME AND SEE the man who told me everything I ever did, He is the MESSIAH!” And many came to know Jesus and received eternal life because of the changed life of ONE sinner who encountered Jesus, a woman who had been known for being the woman with 5 husbands! It doesn’t matter who people think you are, a changed life will change lives!
If your life has been changed by a relationship with Jesus GO TELL SOMEONE! Go tell them to COME AND SEE the one who saw all my sin and loves me anyway!
