April 4, 2024 – The next Franklin County Historical Association Meeting will feature a program on eclipses. The meeting will be held Monday, April 8, 2024, beginning at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held at the Glove Factory, 201 Dallas Street, in Mt. Vernon, Texas. Naturalist and author Matt White will be the guest speaker. The meeting is free and open to the public. A reception with refreshments provided by your FCHA Board to follow the program. Afterward, weather permitting, there will be a short sky watching party in the Glove Factory parking lot.
