Bobby Ray Brantley Jr.

Bobby Ray Brantley Jr, affectionately called “B-Ray” by family and close friends, passed from this life into his heavenly home on July 8, 2023. Bobby was born on June 26, 1990 to Bobby Brantley Sr. and Tena McCann in Sulphur Springs.

He is survived by his three children. Madisen, Eli and Liam. They were the center of his universe. The love in his eyes when interacting with his babies was truly touching. Bobby will be remembered by his infectious smile, laugh and humor. As well as his love for all things grilling. He made the best brisket and steak anyone had ever eaten and not soon forgetten, his love for dirt track racing. It was often joked that he would rather race than eat.

Bobby is survived by his father Bobby Brantley Sr (Kasie) and his mother Tena Granger (Jesse). Sister Macie Green (Marshall), Brothers Dylan, Cale, Wyatt and Levi. Grandmother Bertie McCann. Grandfather Robert Brantley (Melody). As well as host of nephews, nieces , aunts, uncles and cousins. All of whom he loved dearly.

There to greet him at the gates of Heaven were his Papa Wayne McCann, Granny Linda Brantley and Granny Frances Price.

The family has comfort in knowing that he loved the Lord and we will be reunited one day. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on July 15, 2023 at Grace Family Church in Sulphur Springs.

Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. John 14:1-3
