Edward Ray Ryan Hilburn was born on March 25, 1979 in Greenville, Texas to parents Bobby Ray and Carol (Kimbrell) Hilburn. Ryan loved to sing and was a very good singer and loved to enter singing competitions. His friends and family will remember him as funny, always having “something to say,” and as a good natured goofball. You ran the risk of having your sides hurt from laughing after spending just a few minutes with him. Ryan could cook a steak like no other and was always in his overalls and plaid shirts. He had the world’s biggest heart and was always ready and willing to help those in need. People knew him best as Doughboy, Cupcake, and Sunshine- to name a few out of the many, many nicknames his friends and family gave him.

He leaves behind many wonderful memories for his family and friends to cherish.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Bobby Ray and Carol Hilburn; son, Zeth Hilburn; daughter, Alissa Rene Hilburn; sister, Marcie Garrett; nephews, Dakota Hrabal, and wife Terra, Quinten Stovall, and wife Hilary; and niece, Jacey Brown.

Ryan is preceded in death by his grandparents, Willy and Oleta Kimbrell and Lestor and Mary Hilburn.

Arrangements under the direction of Tapp Funeral Home.
